From The Observer by way of Guardian Unlimited or something about Discovery's return.

'We will just have to get through it and see how it turns out,' said Nasa chief Mike Griffin at a briefing about tomorrow's landing. 'This manned spaceflight stuff is really hard.'

Well, that really shows your ability as a leader, there, Mike.

So, today at work was rather exciting. It was the wrap up of inventory. We spent the first couple hours doing slow counting. Not very stressful at all. At first break they provided tons of donuts. I had three. Then we waited for 20 minutes for the managers to get out of their meeting so we could meet our new supervisor for the Saturday crew. They didn't have anything for us to do, anymore, so they had us pointlessly sort some pallets (it had to be done, but the people that would normally do it Monday morning would have done it all in an hour, rather than have us spend two hours and only get it halfway done). Then it was time for second break. So, I had 4 more donuts. When that was over, they informed us pizza was on the way, so we stood around and waited with everyone for that. The three pieces of pizza I ate ended our 50 minute break, at which point we were allowed to leave early.

Well, my day wasn't done. I helped Lisa move into her new apartment, which was actually somewhat entertaining. I lacked energy, and by energy I mean enthusiasm - I could still lift whatever. Anyway, I hope she didn't interpret that as me not wanting to be there. Because, well, I guess I probably could have found something more fun to do, but it was still worthwhile. I had a couple more pieces of pizza, then came home to catch up on Kingdom of Loathing and ebaum's world.

Now I'm here, looking for something to do.
